Please note that the ticket is purchased on the basis of known teams, format, venue and a provisional date. The date of the match may change. If that occurs, the new date will be communicated and you will be given two weeks in which to request a refund should you no longer wish to attend. Your registered email address will be used to contact you for this purpose. If your contact details change then you must inform us at tickets@glamorgancricket.co.uk or you may miss your opportunity to claim a refund. In addition, please be sure to read the standard ticketing T&Cs as detailed in the ECB’s Major Match Day Refund Scheme which are also in place to protect your purchase should there be any cancellation of matches or a requirement to restrict entry.  

We reserve the right to cancel your ticket(s) due to events beyond our reasonable control and/or should we believe it is reasonable to do so on health and safety grounds. If we cancel your ticket(s) in such circumstances, you will be eligible for a refund of the face value of the ticket(s) (which shall not include any initial booking / administration fee, if applicable, which shall be non-refundable). We have absolute discretion as to which tickets to cancel in a situation where reduced capacity at the venue result in a requirement to cancel a proportion of tickets. 

We reserve the right to impose health and safety related conditions which attendees must comply with (including but not limited to the provision of details of all attendees for Test and Trace purposes). Any attendees refusing to comply with such conditions may have their ticket(s) cancelled, be refused entry or removed from the venue. 

We shall not be liable to you for failure to perform any of our obligations to the extent that the failure is caused by an event beyond our reasonable control. Personal arrangements and expenditure, including  travel, accommodation and other costs and expenses incurred by you relating to a match which have been arranged by you are at your own risk, and we shall not be responsible or liable to you for any wasted or unrecoverable costs or expenditure in relation to such personal arrangements, even if caused as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or alteration of a match for which you have purchased tickets.

Domestic fixtures
Please note that the ticket is purchased on the basis of known teams, format, venue and a provisional date. The date of the match may change. If that occurs, the new date will be communicated and you will be given two weeks in which to request a refund should you no longer wish to attend. Should COVID-19 restrictions mean that fans cannot use their purchased tickets, they will receive either a rollover to another fixture or have the option of a full refund. Your registered email address will be used to contact you for this purpose.  If your contact details change then you must inform us at tickets@glamorgancricket.co.uk or you may miss your opportunity to claim a refund. In addition, please be sure to read the standard ticketing T&Cs as detailed below, which are also in place to protect your purchase should there be any cancellation of matches or a requirement to restrict entry.  

Domestic Ticket Roll Back Policy
In the event that, due to health and safety reasons, we can only admit a limited number of ticket holders, the Club will select attendees on the following criteria in priority order:

1.    Glamorgan Members, ECB & Glamorgan Commercial Partners – allocated based on attendance percentage authorised by Welsh Government
2.    Glamorgan Season Ticket holders 
3.    All ticket purchasers – allocated based on the time/date of purchase, with those who purchased first receiving priority access


We reserve the right to cancel your ticket due to events beyond our reasonable control and/or should we believe it is reasonable to do so on health and safety grounds. If we cancel your ticket in such circumstances, you will be eligible for a refund of the face value of the tickets (which shall not include any initial booking/administration fees, if applicable, which shall be non-refundable). Refund Policy – T20 International, England v South Africa

If, for the day for which the ticket is valid (where the date of the match has changed this means the new date of the match), venues are unable to admit spectators for any reason (for example, due to COVID-19) OR play does not take place OR play is restricted, you will be entitled to a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) non admittance of spectators OR zero to 10 overs are played and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 10.1 overs to 20 overs are played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by Glamorgan County Cricket Club to the original purchaser only, either by refunding his or her debit or credit card or by sending a cheque. In respect of tickets purchased at the Ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, refunds may be claimed by sending this ticket with your name and address in block capitals to Refunds Department, Glamorgan County Cricket Club, Sophia Gardens, Cardiff, CF11 9XR within 28 days of the Match date.  For refund queries, email tickets@glamorgancricket.co.uk or telephone 02920 419311. Cricket is against ticket touting – you must not buy or sell this ticket for more than its face value.  Please see www.ecb.co.uk/toutsout for full re-sale/refund policy.  All tickets are issued by or on behalf of Glamorgan County Cricket Club.  Each Ticket is and shall remain at all times the property of Glamorgan County Cricket Club.

No person who is subject to a life ban imposed and/or recognised by the ICC, the ECB or any other ICC Member as a result of a breach of any applicable ICC, ECB or other ICC Member rules, regulations, codes or directives shall be permitted to enter the ground and any such person found within the ground on the day of the match shall be liable to immediate removal from the ground.

Please note that the use of any cameras or mobile devices or any electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match footage, details, statistics, images (on any platforms including but not limited to websites and social media) etc., is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation.  All ground regulations apply.



2022 Domestic Match Refund Scheme

Customers who have purchased an individual match ticket are eligible for a refund if the match is affected due to adverse weather conditions. If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which the ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of the match ticket value subject to there being:

Refund Scheme - Vitality Blast
If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, you may claim a refund of only the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) 9.5 overs or less of the headline match of the day because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a full refund, (b)
10.1 overs to 20 overs are played and no result is obtained - a 50% refund.  In no other circumstances can money be refunded.  In respect of tickets purchased in advance for the day on which this ticket is valid, refunds will be made automatically by Glamorgan County Cricket. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Please note that there is a variation to this policy for knock-out fixtures, where a reserve day is in operation. Tickets remain valid for the reserve day, but there is no refund should you not be able to attend the reserve day. On the reserve day, the standard refund policy will be in operation as detailed above.

No refund will be given to T20 season ticket holders if only one match is abandoned with no result obtained after less than 10 overs. However, a refund will be given at the end of the season - £10.00 per match abandoned with no result after less than 10 overs thereafter. 

Refund Scheme - Royal London Cup
If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the scheduled day for which this ticket is valid, you will be entitled  to a refund of on;ly the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) 15 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 29.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Refund Scheme - LV= County Championship
If play is restricted or does not take place at the ground on the scheduled day for which this ticket is valid, you will be entitled  to a refund of on;ly the match ticket value subject to there being: (a) 15 overs or less because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a full refund; (b) 15.1 overs to 29.5 overs because of adverse weather conditions and no result is obtained - a 50% refund. In no other circumstances can money be refunded.

Refund requests should be submitted within 28 days of the final domestic match of the season. Please allow up to 30 days from placing the claim for us to process your refund. For refund queries please contact the Club's Ticketing Department.

If you would rather exchange a ticket from a match affected due to adverse weather conditions, you may do so by presenting the match ticket at the ticket booth on the day of the alternate match you wish to attend. Ticket exchanges are not available in advance of the alternate match you wish to attend and are only available for matches within the same competition, excluding knockout matches.

1. There is no maximum number of tickets per person / organisation that can be purchased, unless otherwise stipulated via official correspondence by Glamorgan County Cricket Club (the 'Club'). The Club reserves the right to refuse the sale of tickets to individuals or agencies. Please adhere to the published ticket limits. Orders exceeding the ticket limit can be cancelled by the Club without notification. This includes orders having the same name, billing address or credit/debit card.
In addition, any attempt to re-sell tickets on auction websites such as eBay or secondary ticketing sites such as Get Me In, Seatwave, Stub Hub and Viagogo will result in the cancellation of said order with no refund given.

2. Payment may be made using a credit or debit card only. The name of the cardholder and home billing address to which the card is registered must be supplied.

3. No ticket exchanges or ticket amendments will be made to completed ticket orders.

4. If the tickets you have requested are unavailable, we will automatically allocate alternative tickets at an equal or lesser value, subject to availability. No further communication will be made once tickets or stands are sold out.

5. All postal orders will be sent out via second class post to mainland UK addresses only. The Club does not accept responsibility for tickets once they have been delivered to the specified address for that order. Tickets will be despatched approximately 4 - 6 weeks before the date of each game.

6. No duplicate tickets will be issued under any circumstances whatsoever. Should the Club need to replace a ticket for any reason, an alternate seat at an equal or greater value will be provided, subject to an administration charge.

7. Tickets shall not be resold or transferred, save as mentioned in point 8 below, and shall not be purchased or obtained from or through any person, commercial agent, company or otherwise than directly by the applicant from the England and Wales Cricket Board (the 'ECB'), the Club or its authorised agent. Any tickets advertised for sale will be void with no refund given.

8. If more than one ticket is issued to an applicant, those tickets may be used only by the applicant and the person(s) intending to accompany that applicant to and at the Event. The provision of such ticket by an applicant to such person without payment shall not contravene point 7 above.

9. Tickets are issued subject to Ground Regulations (the 'Regulations') established by the ECB and the Club. The ECB and the Club shall be entitled to refuse admission to any ticket holder in reasonable circumstances and shall give written reasons if requested. A copy of the full Regulations currently in force is available upon request from the Club and is on display at the entrances to the Sophia Gardens Cardiff.

10. Any ticket obtained in breach of these Terms and Conditions of Sale (the 'Conditions') shall be void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such ticket shall be nullified. Any person, seeking to use a ticket obtained in breach of these Conditions in order to gain or provide entry to or remain at the Event, will be a trespasser and will be ejected and liable to legal action.

11. Please note that the use of any cameras, mobile phones, computers and other electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match details, statistics, images etc, is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation.

12. All spectators will be subjected to a search as a condition of entry. The Club strictly prohibits the importation of alcohol, cans, glass bottles or containers, sharp implements, all musical instruments, horns, offensive weapons or any item deemed to have safety implications into the stadium. Plastic containers are authorised provided the caps have been removed. All animals are prohibited, apart from guide dogs.

13. Foul or abusive language or behaviour, entry onto the field of play at any time and the throwing of any article will not be tolerated and the Club reserves the right to eject spectators who are in breach of these Regulations.

14. The purchaser agrees to abide by these Conditions and the Regulations at all times. The Club reserve the right to cancel your booking without notification if in the past you have defaulted on any payments or contravened any of these Conditions.

15. Tickets remain the property of the ECB at all times.

16. The ECB and the Club reserves the right to change these Conditions from time to time. Where such change materially affects the rights of the purchaser, the purchaser will have the right to a full refund.

SOPHIA GARDENS, CARDIFF GROUND REGULATIONS 2022

1) Prohibited Items

> Sharp implements such as knives and forks
> Firearms, weapons, knives and imitation weapons
> Glass bottles and containers
> Alcohol
> Cans (soft drinks and alcohol)
> Fireworks, explosives and flammable items
> Air horns/blow horns
> All musical instruments including whistles
> Gas Containers
> Illegal drugs
> Animals (except guide dogs)


2) The following items are authorised:

> Personal (folding) umbrellas
> Cooler bags/boxes
> Own foodstuff (with plastic cutlery)
> Soft drinks/water in plastic containers (tops to be removed, although stewards may in certain conditions allow tops to remain – e.g. for medical conditions, elderly persons, family usage)
> Flasks
> Cameras and video cameras (for recreational and non-commercial use only)
> Flags and banners, provided that, in the opinion of the Stadium, they are not vulgar, political, racial, discriminatory, sexual in nature or display advertising which may in any way impinge or will be in conflict with the rights of the partners/sponsors/suppliers/vendors or the event (in any language) or deemed to be offensive, or impact on the view of other spectators. Sticks should not protrude more than 12 inches below the flag.
> Small radios, CD/DVD/MP3 players – only with headphones
> Glass containers – perfume, prescription medication, insect repellent
> Aerosol deodorant, medication or insect repellent
> Cigarette lighters and matches

Lists of prohibited items will be displayed prominently at the Stadium and will be communicated to those purchasing tickets during the season.

Stewards-on-entry teams will search all bags and persons and will refuse entry of any articles on the list. They may confiscate such items and if facilities allow offer collection upon leaving the Ground.

The Stadium reserves the right to refuse entry to any person carrying any other items or substances which may be deemed to be offensive, disruptive, dangerous or likely to infringe any party’s rights, safety or security, or any dangerous article or substance not referred to above.

3) General Regulations

All spectators aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
All matches are played in accordance with the rules and regulations of both Glamorgan County Cricket Club and the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Everyone entering the ground is admitted subject to compliance with these ground regulations. Search is a condition of entry.

Spectators who encroach onto the field of play will be detained by stewards and handed over to the police for further action.

Drunkenness will not be tolerated and will lead to action by stewards. Entry to the venue by a person deemed to be drunk will not be allowed and poor behaviour arising from excess drinking once inside the venue, will draw a warning and will lead to ejection and may result in police arrest.

The Club will eject and/or ask the police to arrest spectators behaving in the following way:

- Singing indecent songs or using indecent language or making indecent gestures.
- Making unnecessary noise arising from the use of radios, whistles, bells, cans or persistent chanting.
- Unreasonably obstructing the view of any fellow-spectator.
- Causing damage to any part of the club premises.
- Racial chanting or the use of racial language.

In relation to the cricket match taking place at the ground, spectators are not permitted to use a mobile telephone, tablet, laptop, computer or other kind of communication device to either (i) communicate or in any way transmit any form of commentary, data or other material, for any kind of betting or corrupt unlawful purpose; or (ii) conduct continuous betting trading activity.

Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.

No animals other than guide dogs are allowed into the Stadium.

Please note that the use of any cameras, mobile phones, computers and other electronic equipment, for the recording, transmission or communication of match details, statistics, images etc, is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation. All ground regulations apply.

You acknowledge that this venue and those attending may be filmed and/or photographed (creating ‘Audio Visual Materials’).  By using this ticket, you expressly agree that the ECB, its sponsors and partners, other cricket and media organisations may use the Audio Visual Materials (in whole or in part and which may include images or audio recordings of you) for any purpose including marketing, promotions or commercial purposes in any media and format anywhere in the world without payment to you and the need to get permission from you or others.  Your rights under the Data Protection Act 2018 are not affected.  Further information is available at www.ecb.co.uk/privacy.

The Stadium reserves the right for its servants and agents to remove from the Stadium any person/s who do not comply with the above regulations, or whose presence is, or could be construed as constituting a source of danger, nuisance or annoyance to others.

BOOKING PROTECTION

Glamorgan CCC offers a booking protect service which provides refund protection for any ticket products you purchase from the club and is in addition to the club's refund policy for domestic matches and the refund scheme for major events in the event of wet weather.

Booking Refund Protection
 
All refunds are administered by Booking Protect. You will be provided with a refund on any unused booking if you are unable to attend the booked event due to any of the circumstances set out below
 
Definitions
The following words or phrases have the meaning shown below wherever they appear in bold in this document.
You/Your/Yourself – A person who has made a booking alone or as part of a group with us.
Doctor – A qualified medical practitioner registered with a recognised professional body. A doctor cannot be you or a member of your immediate family.
Emergency Services – The Police, Fire and Rescue Service or Emergency Medical Services.
Booking/Booked event – The pre-planned and pre-booked service(s)/event(s)/ticket(s) including booking
 service fees transacted with us by you.
Group– Any number of people who have made a booking with us with Booking Refund Protection in the same transaction.
Illness – A physical or mental condition confirmed by a doctor that prevents you from attending the booked event.
Immediate family – Your husband, wife, partner, civil partner, parent, child, brother or sister.
Injury - A bodily injury confirmed by a doctor that prevents you from attending the booked event.
Public Transport Network – Any mode of public transport other than public hire taxis licensed for public use on which you had planned to travel to a booked event.
Ticket – A non-refundable, authorised ticket that was purchased from us where Booking Refund Protection has been purchased at the same time as purchasing the Ticket(s).
We/us/our – The booking vendor with whom you made the booking.
 
What will we refund?
We will refund the cost of your booking if you are unable to attend a booked event due to:
  •  unexpected disruption of the public transport network you could not have reasonably known about before the date of the booked event;
  • an injury, or an illness affecting you or a member of your immediate family;
  • death happening to you at anytime before the booked event or a member of your immediate family within a 4 week period of the booked event;
  • the mechanical breakdown, accident, fire or theft en route of a private vehicle taking you to the booked event;
  • jury service which you were unaware of at the time of the booking;
  • burglary or fire at your residence in the 48 hours immediately before the booked event that required the attendance of the emergency services;
  • you being summoned to appear at court proceedings as a witness which you were unaware of at the time of booking;
  • you being a member of the armed forces and being posted overseas unexpectedly;
  • adverse weather including snow, frost, fog or storm where the Police services or other Government agency have issued warnings not to travel. You must provide confirmation of relevant road closures from the Police or the relevant Government agency;
  • you being relocated permanently for work by your employer at the time of booking more than 100 miles from the booked event which you were unaware of at the time of booking or you are unexpectedly made compulsory redundant.
 
What will we not refund?
We will not provide a refund where:
  • you cannot provide a doctor’s report for injury or illness;
  • you cannot return all unused tickets or vouchers forming part of the booking;
  • your sole reason for not attending is due to another member of your group no longer being able to attend for any reason;
  • you are unable to attend a booked event because you are unable to obtain a visa to travel;
  • the booked event is cancelled, abandoned, postponed, curtailed or relocated;
  • you decide not to attend a booked event other than for a reason included within this Booking Refund Protection;
  • you are prevented from travelling to a booked event due to disruption of the public transport network which is public knowledge prior to the booked event;
  • you are being relocated temporarily for work by your employer at the time of booking or you have applied for relocation more than 100 miles from the booked event;
  • you can recover any part of the booking;
  • in our reasonable opinion, you did not allow sufficient time to travel to a booked event;
  • you carry out a criminal act which prevents you attending a booked event;
  • you are prevented from travelling to a booked event due to an outbreak of a contagious disease and the Government or any agency acting on behalf of the Government has imposed a ban on travel;
  • you make a false or fraudulent refund application or support a refund application by false or fraudulent document, device or statement;
  • you submit your refund request more than 45 days after the booked event.
 
We will not pay for travelling or associated expenses (unless travel costs are included as part of the total booking price), or any loss other than the purchase price, including booking fee, of the booked event.
 
We will not pay any consequence of war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolutions, insurrection, military or usurped power, riot, civil commotion, strikes, lockout, terrorism, malicious intent or vandalism, confiscation or nationalisation of or requisition or destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any government or public or local authority.
 
We will not pay any costs you incur in submitting or providing evidence to support your refund application.
 
General Conditions
a) you must make all necessary arrangements to arrive at the event on time.
b) you must not be aware of any material fact, matter or circumstance, at the time Booking Refund Protection is purchased, which may give rise to a refund request.
c) you must take all reasonable precautions to prevent or reduce any request for a refund.
d) unless we agree otherwise:
i) the language of this document and all communications relating to it will be English; and
ii) all aspects of the contract, including negotiation and performance, are subject to English laws and the decisions of English courts.
e) refund protection is non-refundable unless cancelled within 14 days of purchase and the booking has not taken place. To cancel the refund protection you need to contact the vendor within 14 days.
 
Requesting a Refund
You must log into www.bookingprotect.com and fill in and submit the Refund Application Form as soon as possible after becoming aware of circumstances that may lead you to request a refund but no more than 45 days after the booked event.
 
You will be asked to provide at your own expense the following within 45 days of registering your refund application:
  • the original unused tickets and vouchers for all parts of the booking;
  • a doctor’s report where your refund request is for injury or illness or a death certificate where your refund request is for death;
  • an official notice from the transport service provider in the event of delay, cancellation, mechanical breakdown or accident in relation to the public transport network;
  • for the breakdown of a private vehicle, a vehicle recovery service report (AA, RAC or equivalent), copy of garage repair bill or parts receipt or in the case of vehicle repairers or police;
  • the original jury invitation inviting you to be a juror;
  • in the event of a burglary the police report with crime reference number;
  • the original witness summons requesting you to appear in court;
  • a copy of a valid visa permitting your travel to the booked event;
  • confirmation of relevant road closures from the Police or the relevant Government agency if requesting a refund due to an official weather warning being issued;
  • any reasonable additional evidence that we ask for.
